Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and at least three years of experience in grant writing experience highly preferred.Ability to be discreet with personal information that may be needed for grants such as employee salaries or upcoming projects.Ability to interpret financial data and prepare budgets and financial grant reports.Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources.Extremely organized and meticulous with details.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Thorough understanding of effective grant writing techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Thorough understanding of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Provide funding for innovative research and programs.Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal funding sources and the ability to locate potential sources for funding.Performs other related duties as assigned.Develops and maintains master files on grants and paperwork connected to grant-funded programs.Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects funded by grants.Completes all documents, forms, or reports required by the grant.Ensures grant is submitted on time and within application parameters.Drafts and completes grant applications according to application requirements.Compiles necessary information for the application process through collaboration with other employees, database research, and other fact-finding actions and meetings.Discusses available sources of funding with administrative managers.

Researches various types of grants available and the criteria to qualify for each.The Grant Coordinator will identify and apply for various grants that meet the organization's needs, overseeing the grant application process from beginning to end. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working closely with clients and peers and can analyze data, prioritize workloads and meet deadlines effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development of grant proposals and assisting in preparing budget reports, proposals, reports, and presentations. We seek an organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Grants Manager.
